Executive Director

Senior investment executive with extensive experience in real assets, restructuring, and governance within regulated financial environments. As Executive Director of Trigal, she leads the firm’s investment strategy and oversees capital deployment across funds, real estate, and renewable energy investments in South‑East Europe.

She previously held senior leadership roles in financial and real estate organisations, managing strategic initiatives and restructuring processes in capital‑intensive environments. Her leadership is grounded in disciplined risk oversight, fiduciary responsibility, and long-term value creation.

She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Ljubljana.

At Trigal, she ensures alignment between capital allocation, portfolio governance, and institutional investor objectives.

Aleš Mataj, CFA, CAIA

Advisor to Executive Director

Investment professional with more than 20 years of experience across investment banking, asset management, and real estate investment. CFA and CAIA charterholder with multi‑asset expertise spanning equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.

He previously held senior roles at NLB d.d., including Senior Financial Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and Head of Research, and later served as Portfolio Manager at Zavarovalnica Triglav d.d. He also acted as Director of Nama and its demerged entities, overseeing restructuring and complex corporate transactions.

He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration (Financial Management) from the University of Ljubljana.

At Trigal, he provides independent financial oversight and strengthens capital allocation discipline across real asset and fund strategies.

Katja Lukman, CFA

Fund Manager

Investment professional specialising in fund management and capital deployment across real assets and renewable energy strategies. She is responsible for portfolio construction, transaction execution, product structuring, and institutional fundraising.

Prior to joining Trigal, she served as Senior Relationship Manager for Large Corporates at Nova KBM (Abanka) and Sberbank, advising institutional clients in regulated banking environments. As a CFA Charterholder, she applies structured underwriting standards and disciplined portfolio management processes.

She holds a Master’s degree in Bank and Financial Management from the University of Ljubljana.

At Trigal, she oversees fund performance, investor communication, and capital allocation across renewable and private market investments.

Aleksandra Šobota

Asset Manager

Real estate investment professional responsible for strategic portfolio management and development oversight.

Prior to joining Trigal, she managed large corporate portfolios at Abanka and public sector portfolios at NKBM, operating within regulated financial institutions. She also brings academic expertise in financial performance analysis and cost management.

She holds a Master of Science in Finance and completed an International Business Course at EDHEC Business School.

At Trigal, she oversees asset performance optimisation and development coordination, supporting long-term value preservation across the real estate portfolio.

Branka Jerala

Real Estate Investment Manager

Real estate investment professional responsible for capital expenditure oversight, refurbishment execution, and tenant strategy.

She previously held senior leadership roles at NAMA, including Deputy Director for Retail and Investments, where she led major redevelopment initiatives and operational optimisation projects.

She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Ljubljana.

At Trigal, she supports disciplined execution of investment projects and operational performance across the real estate portfolio.

Mirko Pervanje

Asset Manager

Real estate professional combining engineering expertise with structured asset management.

He previously worked at Centrice Ljubljana d.o.o. and Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank d.d. / Hypo Leasing d.o.o., gaining experience in property-related financial and operational oversight.

He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ljubljana.

At Trigal, he is responsible for operational optimisation, cost discipline, and technical oversight of assets, supporting long-term portfolio stability.

Katja Šavor

Legal Affairs Advisor

Senior legal and compliance professional with extensive experience in corporate law and regulated environments.

She previously held leadership roles in compliance and integrity functions, including Compliance & Integrity Officer and Data Protection Officer positions within regulated organisations and international settings.
She holds a university degree in law and is a certified data protection professional.

At Trigal, she oversees legal structuring, regulatory compliance, and governance integrity across fund and asset activities.

Leon Hodošček

Head of Risk Management

Senior risk executive with more than 20 years of experience in banking and financial markets, including treasury leadership and integrated risk oversight.

He previously held senior roles in the banking sector, including Head of Trading and Treasury and Head of Interest Rate Risk Management (ALM), managing significant balance sheet exposures. He also served as Deputy Head of Treasury in the cryptocurrency sector, contributing to the development of risk governance frameworks in complex financial environments.

He holds a Master of Science degree and is a Certified Business Appraiser (CBA).

At Trigal, he oversees the firm’s risk management framework across liquidity, market, credit, and capital risks, ensuring institutional-grade monitoring and reporting standards.

Nina Radman

Head of Finance and Accounting

Senior finance executive responsible for financial reporting, accounting governance, and regulatory compliance.

Her background includes serving as Senior Auditor (Audit Manager) at KPMG Slovenia, leading audit engagements in regulated environments, as well as senior finance roles at NAMA IN d.o.o., including Head of Finance and Liquidation Administrator.

She holds a degree in Banking and Corporate Finance from the University of Ljubljana.

At Trigal, she ensures IFRS-compliant reporting, financial transparency, and robust internal controls supporting institutional investor confidence.

Karmen Košiček

Prior to joining Trigal, she held roles at Zavarovalnica Triglav and Ilirika, focusing on financial supervision and internal control frameworks.
